End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller issued the following statement congratulating Congressman Mike Levin on being reelected to California’s 49th Congressional District:
“Congratulations to Congressman Levin on his well-deserved reelection victory. Since Day 1, he’s stood up to special interests, rejected corporate PAC money, and always fought for working families. We were proud to support him throughout this campaign and look forward to continuing working with him in Congress to root out corruption.”
Muller campaigned with Congressman Levin earlier this year and ECU has been a longtime supporter of Congressman Levin, dating back to his very first run for Congress. Congressman Levin, who received an “A+” on ECU’s anti-corruption and voting rights legislative scorecard earlier this year, has been one of the leading voices in Congress for passing meaningful reforms to get Big Money out of politics and making government more accountable to working families.
ECU is dedicated to combating the two biggest challenges facing our democracy: the corrosive impact of Big Money and attempts to block access to the ballot box. Since its founding in 2015, the group has had over 1 million donors and raised $200 million, with an average donation of just $14. The group has more than four million members nationwide.
