WASHINGTON — Today, End Citizens United (ECU) PAC officially endorsed Bill Golderer for Congress.
End Citizens United is a grassroots-funded organization that is dedicated to electing members of Congress who will fight to overturn Citizens United and advocate for campaign finance reform to remove “dark money” from the political system.
“Bill Golderer knows we need to end the rigged system in Washington by limiting the amount of money that corporations can spend anonymously to buy our elections,” said Tiffany Muller, Executive Director for End Citizens United. “We’re proud to support Bill, and we know he is the best candidate to rein in the unlimited dark money that is corrupting our democracy.”
“I’m honored to be endorsed by End Citizens United,” said Golderer. “In Congress, I’ll work hard overturn this terrible decision that has been incredibly damaging to our electoral process.
“My career has been dedicated to serving those whose voices are left out of society,” Golderer added. “I want to be in Congress to represent those voices and serve as a voice for those who have lost faith in our Congress. The people of the 7th district deserve responsive and dedicated leadership that is accountable to the people and not to the well-heeled and the well connected. We need reform and we need it now. We need campaign finance laws that strengthen our democracy rather than the status quo that undermines our democracy.”

End Citizens United PAC was established in March 2015 to counter the disastrous effects of Citizens United and reform our campaign finance system. ECU has raised more than $11 million from more than 500,000 contributions, with an average contribution of $14.To date, more than one million grassroots supporters have signed their name to an online petition calling for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United.
