End Citizens United (ECU) today endorsed Clarke Tucker in Arkansas’ 2nd Congressional District. Tucker is committed reforming Washington to get unlimited special interest money out of politics.
“Clarke Tucker is running a campaign that’s focused on what really matters — the families in his district,” said ECU President Tiffany Muller. “He understands that Big Money special interests have far too much influence over our democracy, which is why he’s committed to reforming the rigged system. ECU is proud to endorse Clarke and looks forward to working with him.”
“Without adequate campaign finance policies, the legislative process is fundamentally corrupted,” Tucker said. “That is why I’m proud to be endorsed by End Citizens United, a group whose goal I share to make our campaign finance system more accountable and transparent.
“I have been a staunch advocate for campaign finance reform in my time in the Arkansas legislature, and I would continue to be a voice in the U.S. Congress for laws demanding full transparency and accountability in our campaign finance system. That’s the only way to ensure that the American people–rather than dark-moneyed, special, corporate, or foreign interests–have the strongest voice in our democratic process.”
End Citizens United is dedicated to getting Big Money out of politics and fixing the rigged system in Washington so it works for all Americans. It is working to elect members of Congress who will fight to overturn Citizens United and pass meaningful reforms. End Citizens United has over three million members, including 5,400 in AR-02, and is entirely grassroots-funded with an average donation of just $14.
