End Citizens United Endorses Representative Chris Pappas for U.S. Senate

Apr 03, 2025

End Citizens United (ECU) today endorsed Representative Chris Pappas for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire. Throughout his time in Congress, Pappas has led the charge to pass anti-corruption reforms and has refused to take corporate PAC money, demonstrating his commitment to putting New Hampshire families first.

“Representative Pappas is exactly the kind of leader we need in the Senate during these perilous times. He’s never lost sight of the people he serves and he has the courage to take on the corrupt, pay-to-play system that puts wealthy donors and special interests ahead of working families,” said ECU President Tiffany Muller. “From day one, he’s challenged the status quo and pushed for bold anti-corruption reforms to clean up Washington––and he’s backed it up by refusing corporate PAC money, proving that he’s only accountable to the people of New Hampshire. We’re proud to endorse him and we look forward to supporting him as he takes this fight to the Senate.”

Since first being elected in 2018, Representative Pappas has delivered on his promise to fight for working families and take on the power of Big Money in politics. He’s been a consistent champion for reforms like the Freedom to Vote Act––a sweeping anti-corruption bill that would stop billionaires and corporate special interests from buying our elections, shine a light on dark money, end partisan gerrymandering, protect the freedom to vote, and strengthen ethics laws.

ECU is dedicated to combating the two biggest challenges facing our democracy: the corrosive impact of Big Money and attempts to block access to the ballot box. Since its founding in 2015, ECU has had over 1.4 million donors with an average donation of just $14. The group has more than four million members nationwide.
