End Citizens United // Let America Vote (ECU // LAV) today endorsed attorney general candidates Eugene DePasquale in Pennsylvania and Congressman Jeff Jackson in North Carolina.
“With MAGA extremists sowing seeds of misinformation and distrust in our elections, while working to weaken the freedom to vote, it’s more important than ever to elect attorney generals who will put the people first,” said End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller. “Euegene DePasquale and Congressman Jeff Jackson have proven records of rooting out corruption and fighting back against the Big Lie. We need their leadership to ensure our elections continue to be safe, secure, and accessible to everyone. This November is the most important election of our lifetimes and we look forward to helping these candidates win their elections.”
“Our government must always work for the people—not corporate special interests and the wealthy elite—and as Attorney General, I will always protect Pennsylvanians, without exception and without leaving anyone behind,” said Eugene DePasquale. “Pennsylvania was at the forefront of the Big Lie, so it’s more important than ever to make sure we stand up to extremists who are trying to silence voters, while expanding the freedom to vote. I am honored to be endorsed by End Citizens United // Let America Vote and work together to protect our democracy.”
“Our nation was founded on the ideal of keeping power in the hands of the people, but over the past decade, we’ve watched extremists minimize voters’ power with surgical precision,” said Congressman Jeff Jackson. “As North Carolina’s next Attorney General, I will take on corruption, protect voting rights, and ensure every voter can make their voice heard. I am rejecting all corporate PAC money in my campaign as a promise that I will not be bought. I’m honored to be endorsed by End Citizens United // Let America Vote and look forward to working together to protect our democracy.”
