Tiffany Muller, president of End Citizens United, issued the following statement in response to news that the Trump administration has officially accepted a luxury jet to use as Air Force One from Qatar:
“Nothing says ‘America First’ like a $400 million bribe from a foreign government. This is an unprecedented level of corruption that puts the country’s national security at risk. Congress must investigate this deal immediately so Americans can see what Trump gave up for this jet, and there’s no way he should be allowed to keep it when he’s out of office.”
Muller, a nationally recognized expert on political corruption, is available for comment on this development and the dangerous culture of corruption and self-dealing that has come to define the Trump administration.
