“Congratulations to Dana Nessel on officially securing the Democratic nomination for Attorney General. Throughout her time as Attorney General, Nessel has been a fighter for the people of Michigan. She’s taken on corporate greed, fighting price gougers and Big Pharma, and she’s protected the voice and vote of every Michigander by fighting back against election sabotage attempts.”
Nessel’s opponent is unqualified, corrupt lawyer Matt DePerno. DePerno is an extremist who:
- Is under criminal investigation for illegally obtaining and tampering with vote counting machines.
- Is under investigation from the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission, which was started by the Republican legislature.
- Is under investigation by his bank.
- Was fired from his law firm for padding billing hours.
- Was the subject of a 2016 Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission investigation for lying to clients.
- Took $400,000 for sham election fund, then pocketed the money.
- Wants to ban abortion without exceptions.
