Ahead of tonight’s PA-SEN debate, we wanted to remind everyone of the top five times Mehmet Oz scammed his way to make money for himself, screwing over whoever he needed to do so.
- Oz added a spa to his Florida mansion so that he could get a half-a-million dollar tax break, screwing taxpayers out of money so he could live his luxurious beachfront lifestyle with a spa.
- Oz told Pennsylvanians that he was going to reject corporate PAC money, then lined his war chest with over $23,000 in corporate PAC money, including from Big Oil and Gas companies.
- Oz exploited a tax loophole to get himself a $50,000 tax handout on a multi-million dollar mansion that he doesn’t even live in.
- He praised a plan to raise taxes on 35% of Pennsylvanians, including on active duty military members all while supporting tax handouts for wealthy corporations and millionaires and billionaires like himself.
- Oz has pushed snake oil products that did nothing to benefit his viewers’ health, while he and his wealthy Big Pharma allies cashed in.
“Mehmet Oz is in this Senate race for one reason and one reason alone: Mehmet Oz. He’s an out-of-state, out-of-touch wealthy elite who wants to keep doing what he does best–screwing over working families to make himself richer.
