In just three months, billionaires gave more than a dollar per American citizen to GOP super PACs
End Citizens United (ECU) President Tiffany Muller released the following statement on nine families donating over $350 million to GOP super PACs in July, August, and September, as reported in Federal Election Commission filings:
“The billionaires are backing up the Brinks truck for MAGA Republicans. They know the GOP is united and committed to enacting Trump’s extreme Project 2025 agenda, which will be a boon for corporations and the wealthy. The fact that nine families unloaded more money than there are American citizens in just three months to try and buy this election shows just how broken our campaign finance system has become. We must stand up to this Big Money and elect champions who will put the needs of working families ahead of billionaires and their extreme agendas.”
